Role Purpose

As a Care Worker, you will work independently in clients’ homes to deliver high-quality care and support. Your role covers personal, social, and domestic assistance, following each client’s individual care and support plan. The aim is to help clients maintain their independence and remain safely in their own homes.

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities

Personal Care

• Assist clients with personal care needs as outlined in their care plans.

• Ensure clients understand their care and treatment choices.

• Communicate effectively with clients, carers, and other professionals.

• Report significant changes in client health or support needs to the Team Leader.

• Administer medication in line with company policy.

Safeguarding and Safety

• Identify and prevent potential abuse.

• Respond appropriately to any allegations of abuse.

• Promptly report any incidents or accidents.

• Maintain hygiene standards and infection control.

Communication and Relationships

• Follow company policies and procedures.

• Promote clients’ rights to choice and independence.

• Treat clients with respect, privacy, and dignity.

Requirements

• Fluent English (required)
