Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at the NIHR UCLH Clinical Research Facility (CRF) for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant. The CRF spans two sites:

Leonard Wolfson Experimental Neurology Centre at Queen Square (QS)
-
NIHR UCLH Clinical Research Facility on the Bloomsbury campus (BC)
The successful applicant will be based across both sites, depending on operational needs.
Main Duties
The post holder will:
-
Provide comprehensive financial management support to the CRF
-
Offer costing and management accounting support for CRF and Principal Investigators
-
Handle commercial/non-commercial studies, grant applications, and ad hoc financial requests

Raise and follow up purchase orders through UCLH finance systems
-
Assist in the purchase and maintenance of office equipment and supplies
Essential Skills and Experience
-
Technically competent with great attention to detail
-
Strong communication skills
-
Proficient in Oracle and Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Proven ability to analyze complex data and translate it into clear financial reports
-
Ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders including clinicians

Currently studying towards a CCAB/CIMA/ACCA qualification or equivalent

First degree or studying towards CCAB/CIMA/ACCA

Working knowledge of financial processes and practices
