Cottingham Hall Care Home is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Care Assistant to join their team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to individuals either in their own homes or within the care home. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to following care plans while ensuring the comfort and dignity of clients.
A valid driving licence is preferred, as travel between clients may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation

Provide emotional support and companionship while helping clients maintain independence and dignity

Follow individual care plans and report any changes in clients’ conditions to appropriate healthcare professionals

Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with team members and family members

Use IT systems for documentation and communication to ensure all information remains accurate and current
Required Experience & Skills

Previous experience in home care or a similar role is advantageous but not essential – full training is provided

Strong English communication skills to effectively interact with clients and families

Familiarity with and ability to follow care plans accurately

Willingness to learn, adapt, and thrive in a dynamic care environment
